Our Work - FarmShare

In our continued efforts to be a BEACON IN THE COMMUNITY, Christian Fellowship formed a partnership with the USDA sponsored Farmshare and TEFAP Programs. This partnership enables our Community Development Corporation to receive at no cost, and to provide fresh produce, bakery products,canned foods, shelf-stable goods, and frozen foods to low income households on the fourth Saturday of each month excluding the months of June and July. Our main objectives are to increase access to fresh food in our community and to fight hunger while serving the homeless and low-income households. We are eternally grateful to our Senior Saints Ministry which has willingly prepared the foods each Friday before distribution day each month.
